Fish curves

I think this all perfectly clear, isn't it?

click to enlarge, if you must, pervert.
And while we're on the subject of lingerie, I am reminded that Spooky Records have just released "On The Rocks", the latest from Sixfthick. While they're over breaking things- sorry, on tour- in Europe, this makes an excellent substitute.

Get some.

Hmm, a wet weekend looms

Well, there's a wet weekend on the horizon, which will probably see me staying at home.
I have a stack of 11 new CDs to get through, including the Killer Birds ep and new albums from the Kamikaze Trio and The Super Insurgent Group of Intemperance Talent, with a few more on the way from Rich at Dropkick Records as well.
There are a some things that might tempt me out, though. Tijuana Souvenirs for free at the Pint on Punt tonight is an option, or maybe the Apartments with Dave Graney & Clare Moore's Lurid Yellow Mist at the Northcote Social Club

Saturday there are a few things happening- not least of which are the almighty Dynamo at the Greyhound, maybe, or Nation Blue and others over at the Arthouse. Or try getting drunk and taking a ride in that big Ferris Wheel in Birrarung Marr, in the rain. In the dark. And the howling wind.

And I have long, slow, cold-brewed high hopped batch of beer to bottle...

Looks like this will have to wait until next week, then:

Bliss.

I was up late on Saturday, drinking. Champagne. In a tent. Until 3.00am. Woo.
Had an early breakfast of barbecued bacon, and then went over to the beach for a swim. Great hangover cure.
In the afternoon I met up with Greg & his wife. The Prayer Babies let me down, by somehow forgetting to bring the South Of The River gospel choir with them. Ooops. Maybe they left 'em in the car. Whatever, it was all good until some speedfreak started a fight. We left, taking a few Cooper's pale ales with us and drank them while sitting next to a lake watching the sun go down. None of this is very rock and roll of course, but it was all hugely enjoyable.

Mystery shopper

You may recall that earlier in the week this blog notched up it's 1000th hit.
I was online at the time, and noticed when the site counter clocked over. I quickly signed into the back end (the bits you don't get to see) and was amazed to find out that visitor 1000 was actually sitting in an internet cafe nearby. So I went to see who it was- and here she is:

Well, I think it's her, anyway- she wasn't very friendly. In recognition of her part in reaching this milestone, I asked her to look after things for the next few days- especially important as I've got a long weekend on- and she stopped threatening to call the cops and agreed to do it. "Yes, yes, just as long as you leave me alone", she said, as she headed off down Bridge Road, Richmond.
I didn't even get her name...
