I knew I was procastinating doing my assignment for college but i just thought i would take a 'quick' look at your link!
ReplyDeleteI ended up reading the whole birthday party, cavemen and bad seeds thing...so much for completing my assignment, shit, pity I can't write it on Nick Cave hey?!
Oh well, there's always tomorrow...keep up the excellent blog tjhoneysuckle.
Thanks...can I interest you in a Precious Little CD? They would make a GREAT college assignment.
ReplyDeleteR u selling the CD TJ?
ReplyDeleteI do not have a credit card you see, I can not trust myself. The last one I had drove me to tears and thousands of $$$$ lost to the bank...argh!
But otherwise yes...you could interest me in the Precious Little CD.
OH and just in case u r worried about my studies, I got the assignment submitted today. I felt inspired after reading the history of Nick Cave so I stayed up late last night and completed it. I had been at it all afternoon!
Sadly, there is only one Precious Little CD in existence, and I don't have it. I gave it away.
ReplyDeleteAnd those cassettes we issued back in the day are impossible to find- I had to borrow one to make the CD.
If i am repeating myself it is because i can not remember if I clicked on Anon before I closed my last post here! Feel free to delete this if I have doubled up...memory going at my age...this is not a good sign.
ReplyDeleteOh no...get the borrowed one back and copy another. Then i can copy yours!
Not that we are serious, we do not do THAT sort of thing!
Cassettes: many a fine recording eaten by my player. You know I actually prefered cassettes to vinyl. The only reason i liked vinyl was for the album covers.
Cheers, Michelle
That's true about vinyl. But now the reason I dislike CDs is because of CD covers.
ReplyDeleteToo small aint they?
ReplyDeleteI dont know why they bother most of the time, actually I have one or two CD covers out of hundreds that are worth a mention.
And i think it is easier to fuck up a CD than vinyl...and the sturdy cassette...you had to destroy it to make it unplayable.
I have a shocking, kill ten dogs hang over this morning...had a great night though!
Cheers, Michelle
